1967 Airstream Overlander 26’ R/V trailer which received a complete, professional, and restoration in 2024 which incorporated modern conveniences and updated finishes. Restored vintage trailers of this condition and finish level are rare in the market place. This highly sought after model was cared for with the utmost attention to detail. This beauty was kept in pristine condition over the years and has been completely renovated including a polish, new mechanical systems to modernize and increase the comfort and usability and new interior finishes to refresh this Overlander. A full description is below as well as line-item specifications for the renovation.

This Overlander model is very versatile with a pull out couch / bed in the front as well as in the middle bedroom section. The compact kitchen features a propane / electric refrigerator and stainless steel sink with new faucet. The interior walls and upper cabinet panels have been cleaned and painted. The Ash cabinets and partitions have been restored or replaced when water damaged. A new Marmoleum composite tile floor has been installed. The AC, full kitchen, flushing toilet, gas heater, and sink, shower with running water will take your camping trip to the next level of vintage luxury.

This camper had a serious renovation taking it from dated and worn to like new again. The renovation included repairing water damage and replacing seals on the windows and doors. Interior renovation including new upholstery and curtains.

Renovation Description

The exterior of this Airstream is highly-polished Aluminum. The tires are all in excellent shape, rims have been painted, and hub caps installed. The curved glass is all in excellent condition and seals have been replaced. Even the 30lb front-mounted propane tank is polished. The hitch is 2″.

Several areas with water damage were repaired including inside the front door and above the bed. Exposed areas were coated with POR 15 rust inhibitor. The subfloor was replaced with marine grade plywood. New insulation was installed where the floor was opened. Leveling jacks are included.

A new SS 30amp inlet was installed. A new electrical panel was installed. The on-board batteries are FVP® VoltEdge® M24-7DC Deep Cycle Marine & RV Battery.

The climate control has also been upgraded. A new low profile quiet rooftop air conditioner unit with heat pump. The furnace was cleaned and tested. A new tankless water heater was also installed. A smoke alarm, LP detector, and CO detector were also installed.

The refrigerator is original and has been cleaned and tested. Likewise, the stove/oven is original and has been cleaned and tested.

All interior seams have been resealed. The interior has had new paint. The entry door has been refurbished and the weatherstrip replaced. All compartment doors have been refurbished. All locks have been checked.

New Marmoleum composite tile flooring has been installed. The countertops are original and in good condition. There is a dining table. Storage is available through out and original storage containers and bins are included. The front couch pulls out to make a second bed. All cabinet hinges are self close. New LED bulbs and light covers have been installed. LED strip lighting has been installed above the upper cabinets in the sleeping area.

All of the exterior badging and tags were removed and replaced on the trailer.

The PEX water lines throughout the R/V are new. The original toilet, tub, and sink bathroom fixtures are yellow fiberglass. The waste tanks have all been tested. All of the gas lines are also new.

The unit was pressurized and tested for leaks using soap bubbles to detect air that is escaping. All leaks were addressed.
