This 1967 Airstream Sovereign Twin 30’ R/V trailer is available for only the 8th time in her illustrious life. This beauty was top of the line and has probably seen more of America than you have. This Sovereign model is very versatile with a pull-out couch / bed in the front as well as in the middle bedroom section. The kitchen features a propane / electric refrigerator and stainless steel sink with new faucet. The interior walls and upper cabinet panels have been cleaned. The Mahagony cabinets and partitions are dark, rich, and mysterious. If those walls could talk, the stories they would tell.

Loaded vs. Dry: While the dry weight is around 4,500 lbs, the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR)—which includes a full fresh water tank (approx. 30–50 gallons), full propane tanks, and your belongings—will likely push the trailer toward 5,800–6,000 lbs.

Hitch Weight Variations: The 490 lbs hitch weight is a factory “empty” number. Once you add two full 30 lb steel propane tanks and a battery onto the A-frame, that tongue weight can easily jump to 600–700 lbs.
